In a panel discussion on the theme of “Science Communication in Islamic Countries: Towards an Effective Network” which was held on Sunday, November 10th at IRIB University, William Odinga Balikuddembe, President and CEO of Uganda Science Journalists Association (USJA), talked about some principles of publishing science news.

Alongside the two other ongoing panel discussions in Sharif Energy Research Institute on water-energy-environment nexus, a panel discussion on the "Role of Renewable Energy in Global Transformation for a Sustainable Energy Future" was held on Sunday, November 10th. This panel discussion comprised of five scientists from four countries in the field of renewable energy, who used the data gathered in their countries to address various aspects of the role of renewable energy.

The importance of waqf and the ways it influences society were discussed in Imam Sadiq University.
