At the 2nd day of the 5th round of the Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries, the panel for the STI and the future of communicable and non-communicable diseases in the Islamic world was held at the University of Karachi.

During the inauguration of the 5th round of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries, Distinguished University Professors welcomed the international guests at the Dr. Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research at the University of Karachi.

Prof. Jackie Y. Ying, 2015 Mustafa(Pbuh) Prize laureate, recently received the 2018 Turkish Academy of Sciences Prize in Science and Engineering Sciences from President Erdogan at the Presidential Palace in Ankara.

The 5th round of Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic countries will be held in Pakistan this March for four days.

The call for Noor School Student Competition; commemoration of Ibn Razaz Jazari as well as the production and submission of 1,700 short films with the participation of more than 5,000 school students from seven countries ended and the laureates will be awarded in the upcoming event.

One of the major objectives of the 4th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic Countries, which is underway at Oman's Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), is to raise awareness of the significance of investment in research.
