One of the major objectives of the 4th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP) in Islamic Countries, which is underway at Oman's Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), is to raise awareness of the significance of investment in research. MSTF Media has taken a closer look at the issue by sitting with one of the participants of STEP, Wael Mamdouh Ahmed, who is a professor of Nanotechnology at the American University in Cairo.
