AP: ‘Iran awards scientific prize to 2 US-based physicists’
Associated Press (AP) published a report of the 2021 Mustafa(Pbuh) Prize Award Ceremony.

The 4th round of the Mustafa
Prize Award Ceremony was held in October 2021 at Tehran’s Vahdat Hall. The Ceremony has been reflected in news reports of top news agencies from around the world.
Internationally recognized media such as Associated Press (AP) and Washington Post have provided detailed news coverage of this round of the Mustafa
Prize.
AP in its report wrote “Iran awarded a prestigious prize in the study of science and technology to two physicists based in the United States.”
Pointing to Cumrun Vafa as an Iranian-American laureate of the Mustafa
Prize from Harvard University, AP wrote that Vafa in his award acceptance speech said this award reminds him ‘that there is no border for science and technology and they belong to all human beings.’
The news report noted that Vafa, a 2021 Mustafa
Prize laureate in the field of All Areas of Science and Technology, “donated his award to an Iranian science foundation.”
“A quantum professor at Princeton University, Bangladesh-born M. Zahid Hasan, received the prize, too,” AP wrote, adding “Three other scientists, Lebanon’s Mohamed H. Sayegh, Pakistan’s Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary and Morocco’s Yahya Tayalati also won awards.”
The news also reported that laureates of the 2021 Mustafa
Prize were selected from “more than 500 entrants.”
