I also thank my brothers Vahid, Hadi, and Mehdi, my uncles, Dr. Zeynab Abbasi, my wife, and Sama and Amin, who are waiting for me in the United States.”

He added: “I became acquainted with computer science in high school and through computer Olympiads. My time at Sharif University of Technology was one of the most active periods of my life.”

Mirrokni continued: “At MIT and various research institutes, my priorities have been to share my work with the scientific community and to pursue knowledge that is beneficial to humanity.”

The laureate also noted: “In the U.S., I learned that for successful projects, a research team must be scientifically diverse. My research team in the U.S. consists of members from different countries, and this diversity has greatly helped me.”

In a message to all students, he said: *“Keep your motivation alive. If you face challenges or limitations, work harder and turn those challenges into opportunities. This principle has guided me throughout my life, and I have always benefited from it.”

Mirrokni stressed: “Scientific progress is happening at an increasingly fast pace. Students should focus on advancements and changes, form strong teams, and through teamwork, begin new initiatives.”
